Official NASA Logo Patch - 8-Inch

This is the 8-inch embroidered version of the official NASA logo.

This emblem is NASA's second official insignia. It is now also the official logo, having replaced the NASA "worm" design. It is nearly identical to the NASA "meatball" that was used during all the Mercury flights, but as early as the Gemini 3 mission a slight design change was made. The red winged vector was extended beyond the circular border of the NASA Original and the size was increased from 2.5 inches in diameter to three inches.
