'Antares in Sunlight' Panoramic Poster

During the six moon landings between 1969 and 1972, the Apollo astronauts captured several panoramas. This was done by the astronaut standing in one spot, and then taking several single photos of the location as he rotated in a 360 degree circle. The result was about 20 photos which when laid alongside each other, would form a panoramic mosaic of the location.

Taken by Apollo 14 Commander Alan Shepard, this combined panoramic poster shows Lunar Module Pilot Edgar Mitchell working the TV camera as a brilliant sun glare reflects off the Lunar Module Antares. The slopes of the Moon's Cone Crater are in the background.

Measures an amazing 62 by 21 inches!
